For Faculty/Staff:

Departmental Mail and Package Delivery
All department mail and packages should be picked up at the Distribution Center. Operating Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, excluding holidays.  

When possible, the Distribution Center is happy to accommodate  special requests for package transport to campus locations. Requests must be made at least 2 days in advance to coordinate pick-up and delivery windows.  Due to limited staffing, the DC staff are unable to assist with shelving items or disposing of packaging materials. 

Mail Forwarding
Unfortunately, the Distribution Center is unable to forward individual faculty or staff mail. Please contact your Department Chair or Office Admin to determine how mail is retrieved.

Faculty-to-Student Item Distribution
Faculty who would like to transfer a book or course material to a student living in the neighborhood or on campus may utilize the Distribution Center as the go-between. For large volumes of materials or technical equipment of value, please contact Public Safety directly to develop an on-campus pick-up process.

All items must be dropped off in a sealed package with a label. The label must include the following details: student name, student mailbox # (available on PROWL), sender name, department, and sender email address. Once processed, the student will receive an email confirmation with instructions to schedule a pick-up time. Distribution days for off-campus students are limited to Tuesday-Thursday.  Please contact the Distribution Center with any questions.


For Students:

Student Mail Retrieval
Students living on campus may pick up their mail from the Distribution Center on P2 of University Hall. If a student living off-campus would like to have mail forwarded to a new address, they should contact the Distribution Center HelpDesk (

Package Pick-up
Students livining in the L.A. area who would like to retrieve a package that was delivered to campus during the LMU campus closure should send a request to the Distribution Center HelpDesk ( Upon verification, students will be provided with a link and access code to schedule a pick-up. 

Off-campus students expecting library materials will be sent a confirmation email that includes an access code that can be entered here for scheduling a pick-up.  Distribution days for off-campus students are limited to Tuesday-Thursday.
